Stockholm, Sweden Day 7 of our Baltic Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette 19th May 2023

Today we docked in Stockholm, a beautiful Baltic city. However we got up early to watch the exciting sail in through the archipelago and also got onto the Heli-Pad at the front of the ship to watch it. Again, we got a shuttle bus at the terminal, but disaster was to strike. The shuttle bus system was far below the normal standard of Celebrity, the bus and driver were not up to standard, and on the drive in, the driver managed to hit a barrier, bring the bus to a standstill and block the road. We had to literally climb out of the bus and make our own way to the city centre. Some of this is captured on film and it meant our visit to Stockholm started badly. However, we did get to many of the sites, including the Old Town, The Palace, The Vasa Museum, and Djurgarden area. We also encountered a student protest which Greta Thunberg was involved in but we didn't notice her - others on the cruise did. #stockholm #celebritycruises #balticcruise
