Dr. Po-Shen Loh continues his HSD workshop on Catalan Numbers by deriving the formula in a second way, using a bijection of paths (known as André's reflection method). The talk concludes with an extension of the reflection technique to solve the challenge problem from Part 1 (linked below). This talk is self-contained and appropriate for sophisticated high school-aged math enthusiasts.
