How To Make Apple Butter [Easy Crock Pot] Today we are making simple crockpot apple butter. There are several steps and it is way too much to explain here. Be sure to watch the video for full steps and instructions. Fill a 5 to 6 quart crock pot with unsweetened apple sauce. Add 2 cups of sugar (you will add 2 more later) 2 Tbls cinnamon 1 tsp ground cloves 1/2 tsp all spice Stir Turn on low and cook for about 12 to 16 hours. If apple butter has cooked down a lot add more apple sauce. Now add 2 more cups of sugar and stir. Cook on low about 2 more hours. Jar up and water bath process them. Check with your canning instructions on how long to process them based on what size of jars you are using Thank you so much for watching!
