Creating One of my Most Unique Pieces Yet!! | The Wandering Eye | Silversmithing

Welcome to The Wandering Eye. 👁️🐌 This collection started with one of those strange little ideas that gets stuck in my head and refuses to leave — and somehow, it turned into these wonderfully peculiar creatures. Each Wandering Eye is individually cast in silver and brought to life with its own glass eye. No two are exactly alike. The textures, details, expressions, and eyes give each one a personality entirely its own, which has quickly become one of my favorite parts of making them. I’ve always had a fascination with unusual little creatures and the things that can feel equal parts beautiful, strange, and maybe even a little unsettling. The Wandering Eye lets all of that come together. In this video, I’m taking you through the creation process and showing you how these little creatures make their way from an idea in my head to a finished piece of wearable art. They’re weird.
