Welcome back to Couple of Cryptids, where two touring musicians from the Catskills of Upstate New York explore haunted locations, local legends, ghosts, cryptids, UFOs, and everything paranormal. After playing a live music show in Oneonta, NY, we decided to skip sleep and head out into the night to investigate a tip from a friend who insisted we visit Bridge after midnight. 🌉 IS LORDVILLE BRIDGE HAUNTED? Located in the remote Delaware River Valley near Lordville, New York, this historic area has a fascinating past. The original Lordville suspension bridge was built in 1869, and the crossing has seen multiple bridges over the years. We were told that if we visited after midnight and patiently waited on the north side of the bridge, we might witness an apparition. Local legend tells of a woman who may have died near the bridge and whose spirit is said to appear around the river after dark. We searched for historical documentation but couldn't find anything conclusive. Still, the story was enough to send us into the darkness with our spirit talker and paranormal investigation equipment! 👻 WHAT HAPPENED DURING OUR INVESTIGATION? During this late-night ghost hunt, we experienced some seriously unsettling moments: • Investigating Lordville Bridge shortly after midnight • Using a spirit talker and necrometer to attempt paranormal communication • Hearing strange noises and what sounded like footsteps in the darkness • Strange names and unexpected responses coming through our paranormal equipment • Spotting a mysterious dark shape or shadow near the bridge • Experiencing what felt like something grabbing and pulling Faith's shirt • Hearing unexplained sounds near the Delaware River • Exploring the dark riverbank while wondering what might be moving nearby • Seeing strange shadows and trying to figure out what we were actually witnessing Was it a ghost? Something in the woods? An ordinary sound amplified by the strange acoustics of the bridge? We don't have all the answers, but this midnight investigation definitely gave us plenty to talk about.
