Relax and learn in this dermatology insider ASMR roleplay! Join me, your Dermatology Provider, for skin tag removal session using a precise hyfrecator machine.
Description:
Welcome back, everyone. In today's video, we are focusing on providing you with ultimate relaxation while explaining a common dermatology procedure.
The patient presented with multiple skin tags (acrochordons) on the neck. I provided options for removal: traditional surgical scissors or the hyfrecator (electrocautery). After explaining that scissors offer immediate removal but potential bleeding, and the hyfrecator cauterizes while removing—resulting in no bleeding—the patient elected for the hyfrecator.
What you will hear/see in this video:
Soft-spoken consultation and informed consent.
Putting on gloves (sounds).
Cleaning the area with alcohol swabs.
Numbing the 9 skin tags with local anesthetic (Lido with Epi).
The high-frequency cauterization/burning of the skin tags.
Application of Vaseline and gauze dressing.
