I Worship You Before the Battle Begins | A Praise-First Morning Prayer

Before you face a single thing today, come and worship. And the temptation is always the same: to march straight into the fight in your own strength. But there is a better way, an older way, the way God's people have always won their hardest battles — we worship FIRST. Like King Jehoshaphat, who sent the singers out ahead of the army and watched God fight the battle for him, we lift our voices in worship before the first blow is ever struck.
