The Effectual Fervent Prayer of a Righteous Person Availeth Much | Morning Prayer

Start your morning by taking your place at the altar of intercession — and being reminded that your prayers are not falling on deaf ears, not dissolving into the air, not bouncing off the ceiling and returning empty. They are being heard by a God who calls the prayers of His righteous people effectual, fervent, and powerful — and who has staked His own reputation on the promise that the earnest prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much. This is a powerful morning prayer for anyone who has ever wondered whether their prayers actually make a difference — and needs to be reminded today that they absolutely do. This prayer is for the faithful intercessor who has been praying for decades and is still standing at the altar. For the grandmother on her knees every morning before the rest of the house stirs, lifting name after name before the throne of God. For the widower who lost his partner in prayer but kept praying alone. For the believer who sometimes feels like their prayer life is weak, inadequate, too short, too distracted, too ordinary to matter — and needs to hear God say, I hear you, and your prayers are moving things you cannot see. For anyone who has grown weary in prayer and needs fresh fire and fresh faith to keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. We will pray together with holy boldness and earnest faith — not because we are perfect but because we are righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ and therefore have full access to the throne of grace. We will intercede for our families, our churches, our nation, and the lost. We will pray with the confidence of people who know that heaven moves in response to earth's prayers — and that our faithful, fervent, faith-filled intercession is one of the most powerful forces on the face of this earth. Pick up your prayer list this morning. Bring every name, every need, every burden. Your prayers matter more than you know. #morningprayer #morningprayertostartyourday #christianmotivation
