Living in a Sleeper Cab As A 23 Year Old Girl Trucker - 10 Things Nobody Tells You

Everybody wonders what happens behind the curtains of a parked truck at night, so I’m walking you through the real version from my sleeper berth. I cover the legal size of my bunk, the net that doubles as a seatbelt, washing up with no sink, rationing battery power on hot nights, why I can’t have a pet, and why my real address is still my mom’s house back home. The last one is the thing most people only ask me in a whisper: where a solo female trucker actually goes to the bathroom, and why there’s no federal rule protecting my access to one. It’s an honest, unglamorous look at living full-time in a sleeper cab, from someone who does it every night.
