My 3,000km Vietnam Scooter Adventure Starts Here

I’ve started a 3,000km journey riding a scooter across Vietnam from Hanoi all the way down to Saigon. In this first episode I pick up my bike in Hanoi and begin the trip south, riding through the Vietnamese countryside to Haiphong before taking the ferry across to Cat Ba Island. Over the first few days I explore the island, ride along the coastline, visit Cat Ba National Park for a challenging hike, and take in some incredible views from one of the island’s viewpoints before watching the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. This is the beginning of the Hanoi to Saigon series where I’ll be travelling the length of Vietnam by scooter over 30 days.
