TOKYO: Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2026 – Ike-Haro Cosplay Parade | Japan

The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival is one of Japan’s largest Halloween cosplay events. First held in 2014, it takes place in the Ikebukuro area of Toshima Ward, Tokyo. The festival centers on cosplay inspired by characters from manga, anime, and video games. It attracts cosplayers, photographers, and fans of Japanese pop culture of all ages. Events throughout the neighborhood include stage performances, parades, and interactive activities. The festival is organized by the Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival Executive Committee, which brings together Dwango, Animate, Hacosta, Sunshine City, and Toshima City. The Ike-Haro Cosplay Parade was held as part of the festival. Cosplayers dressed as characters from manga, anime, and video games paraded through the streets of Ikebukuro.
