Phomi Holding makes what might be the most innovative building material we've ever seen. Panels that replicate any texture - stone, marble, wood, leather. Panels with hidden displays that show video content and look like solid rock when the screen is off. Panels that work as solar facades, generating energy while looking like natural architecture. The challenge: this technology is so far ahead that Western audiences didn't know how to categorize it. European architects, developers, and specifiers need proof - certifications, durability data, real-world applications before they'll even consider a new material. A standard product video wouldn't cut it. Multiple visits to China. Factory floor documentation with camera and drone. Face-to-face storyboard sessions with the client's team. 3D texture scanning of products for photorealistic animation. Original music composed specifically for the film's three-part structure. But the part we'm most proud of had nothing to do with animation. During the process, we became more than a production studio. We consulted on how Phomi should communicate their products to European audiences - not just in the film, but across their entire marketing. Product specifications. Brochures. Website content.
