"In every stage of spiritual life, we stand on the same truth: our sins are forgiven through Christ" In this sermon, the various stages of spiritual life are considered that the Christian journey includes different measures of growth, knowledge, and spiritual strength. Yet whether one is a spiritual child, young person, or father in the faith, every believer stands upon the same assurance: our sins are forgiven for Christ’s sake. Thus, spiritual maturity may distinguish the stages of the Christian life, but Christ remains the common ground of our confidence, identity, and assurance.
