Turkey Hatching

Pecking out of a shell is hard work for a baby bird. Hatching can take several hours, so the bird has to rest a lot during the process. This video cuts out some of the resting time as this baby turkey (called a "poult") breaks out of its shell. The turkey is a type of heritage breed.
