ARMED TO STAND

Are you ready to stand firm in faith when fear, temptation, condemnation, and discouragement come against you? In this episode of ARMED TO STAND, we study Ephesians 6:17–18 (KJV) and the final pieces of the whole armour of God: the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, and a life of continual prayer. “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…” — Ephesians 6:17–18, KJV The helmet of salvation guards the believer’s mind, identity, hope, and assurance in Jesus Christ. When accusations, fear, shame, or hopeless thoughts arise, God’s truth reminds us that we are forgiven, redeemed, and still being transformed by His grace. The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. Scripture is not a weapon for attacking people or winning arguments; it is God’s truth for resisting temptation, confronting deception, strengthening faith, and renewing our minds. Just as Jesus answered temptation with “It is written,” believers are called to know, study, meditate on, and live by God’s Word. This teaching also explores what it means to pray always, pray in the Spirit, remain spiritually alert, persevere in prayer, and intercede for all saints. We do not stand in our own strength, and we do not stand alone. God calls His people to stand together in faith, truth, and prayer.
