Killer Ex Realizes His Own Phone Just Exposed Him

For three months, Danny Beard played the heartbroken ex who found her body. Then detectives pulled his phone. On September 17, 2018, Navy Chief Petty Officer Andrea Washington, a 19-year veteran and mother of three, was found shot inside her Jacksonville, Florida home. Just hours later, she was supposed to be in court asking a judge to make her protective order against Danny permanent. Danny told detectives she had texted him begging for help. He told them he was home that night. He told them he had never owned a gun. But her security cameras, his cell phone and three live rounds left next to her body told a very different story. This is the full interrogation of Danny Beard, and how one detective took his story apart, one text message at a time.
