On today's show: Forced Fandom, We hear your food injury stories, & more! We found a new way to torture ourselves this NFL season. We call it Forced Fandom! Basically we're forcing each other to support a random NFL team all season long, even if we hate them. We must watch games, buy merch, join online communities, and whoever's team goes the farthest gets to ATTEND the Super Bowl in LA at SoFi Stadium Feb 14th. Whoever's team does the worst will have to travel to their team's city to watch the Super Bowl among their new legion of loser fans. We also went down memory lane and played a couple of bits from years past, including Klein's famous Dateline interview. A man named Kegan Klein was a suspect in the Delphi murders, and Omar skillfully inserted clips of Klein when they covered the story on Dateline. It aged well. Meanwhile, we replayed Jake's call to a Pet Store last year leading up to the Super Bowl which featured Jake Squaw-ing to a very confused pet shop owner. This didn't age well. Jake has an interesting new dilemma with his girl friend. She confessed she does NOT like his Patchouli deodorant, but he just bought a big batch of 5 sticks (and some lip balm). Should he get rid of it and buy a new scent? Or keep being Jake? Johnny received unexpected money and Klein convinced him to put it on the NFL game tonight. Can he turn $600 into $1400 so he can buy his dream guitar?
