Oldest Hill Castle in Germany | Saarburg Castle

Hello and welcome to our final video from our trip to Germany in June 2022. Welcome to Saarburg, a quaint town with a beautiful set of waterfalls powering watermills in the centre of town. Towering above it is its castle. Built in the 10th century it’s one of the oldest hill castles in the whole of Germany. Though a huge part of it is now a restaurant there are still some impressive remains for us to explore. Let’s climb this castle together!
