Watch DLZ's webinar, Accessibility Requirements in Employee Common Use Areas of Buildings.
The next webinar in our ADA compliance series covers the accessibility requirements at regulated employee common use areas of buildings. The webinar focuses on areas that are typically not open to the public but meet the definitions for “common use” by employees, including parking, interior accessible routes, employee entrances, signage, conference rooms, drinking fountains, restrooms/locker rooms, and break rooms.
Attendees will hear information about which employee areas of facilities are exempt from accessibility standards. Stephen Metzer will present the requirements of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, along with examples of the most common issues observed by DLZ on our various projects. While the focus is on government facilities, the requirements in most instances would be the same for Title III entities (private businesses).
