Candlepin Bowling - Tom Olszta vs. Gary Carrington (1988)

Air date: 8/13/1988. Special thanks again to Tom Olszta, his wife Karen, and Aaron Fontaine for this show, which was the 2nd to last week overall from the 1987 - 1988 season of the program on Channel 5. This match featured Tom Olszta coming onto the program for the first time in almost a year in a half, having to face off against red hot Gary Carrington, who had rolled four straight triples on the show over 400 before this telecast. Both bowlers seemed to struggle at certain points in this match, as it went right down to the final frames to determine who would win this one. It was still an exciting finish that paved the way for the final program of the season the following week as the True Value Championship show would happen only two weeks after this particular airing. Hope you all enjoy, R.I.P. Don Gillis.
