🚙DESTINATION: Deniliquin NSW. 📍WHERE: The town is in the Riverina region, close to the Victorian Border. More than seven hours by road from Sydney and about three from Melbourne. It's the largest town in the Edward River Council area. ❓WHY: Many people had told me about this charming gem of a town, so I wanted to see for myself. It's rich in pastoral history and the verandah covered footpaths give the streets a unique look and feel. The beautiful Edward River is the jewel in Deni's crown and an interesting story to boot. 📆WHEN: We visited at the beginning of summer. 😋🍴WHERE WE ATE: we enjoyed a breakfast at The Crossing Cafe which is within the Peppin Heritage Centre , and a lunch at Frank n Beans (great burgers). But there are many options. 🛌WHERE WE STAYED: Centrepoint Motel Deni which was clean, comfy and close to everything. Staff were helpful and friendly. There are many accommodation options too.
