Playlist:    • Super Thracia 0% Growth LTC   Turns: 7 Total: 273 This is probably the second most difficult chapter in the game, being surpassed only by the final chapter, for all the wrong reasons. The map's objective is still to escape, but the arrival point is much more difficult to reach than vanilla. It is a single spot in the middle of nowhere, and it's guarded by unsurprisingly another super boss; this time it's Izuka with Byleistir, which functions similarly to vanilla Veld's Stone. The only way to reach him is to enter warp tiles located in 4 corners of map. Once entered, one will be warped to adjacent tiles around Izuka. These tiles cannot be reached by other methods, even with warp staff. This is the reason why this map is so challenging. You need really strong units to face Izuka, and yet they have to spend an action to reach him. They can't counter attack him because of stone status, and Izuka himself has skyrocketed hitrate. Ideally, you should arrive at all four corners at the same time, then dogpile him. However, with restricted resources and constrained turns, I can only do so by securing one corner. With only one corner acquired, Katarina is the best unit to challenge him, since she has 20 vigor stars, allowing her to chip in one attack before getting stoned. Then, I have to rescue her, and she repeats the same action again. Thankfully Izuka is vulnerable to Upheaval, allowing Kat to 2HKO him. The question now would be which corner should I try to contest. Since every enemy will start pouring from those corners, and our starting point is in the lower section of the map, it's reasonable to challenge two lower corners, as it's faster to evacuate everyone. The lower right is occupied by Saias, and the left side is kept by Reinhart. There are 2 primary reasons why I prefer the left wing. (1) Not only the boss, but their lackeys need to be dealt with also. I don't want to get clogged in the hallway, because it would slow us down. Therefore, I need someone who can fight them on enemy phase, and Ced is the strongest unit I have right now. Reinhart's men all use Thunder spell, which has weapon triangle disadvantage against Ced's wind magic. They also don't have Nihil, permitting Ced to proc Adept to ORKO as many of them as possible. On the other hand, Saias's units have fire magic, which can quickly destroy Ced. Nosferatu!Ced is the alternate choice for the right wing, but Forseti is much better. (2) There are multiple Novistadors reinforcing in the first 4 turns. They come from both sides of the map, in the middle of nowhere. Luckily, the spot in the left wing can be occupied, which makes the left wing way easier. These Novis are particularly dangerous as those coming in turn 2-4 can't be capture baited. We can secure this left spot, as it's the tile where Ishtar needs to be to talk to Julius. Therefore, it's much more reasonable to rush to the left side rather than the right side. (3) Both Saias & Reinhart are deadly, and the only way to kill them reliably is to Sleep them, then snipe them with Blizzard!Ced. That being said, as it takes a few turns to evac everyone, the novistadors in the right side can threaten us, given the fact that their mov stat fluctutates greatly. For the purpose of this LTC, I have to rig them in a favorable way. The first one must not have extra move, so they can only barely arrive at the left corner at the end of turn 6. I have Mareeta use Torch in a particular spot, then open the minimap in turn 2 to make sure that Novis isn't far enough, indicating that they only have 6 mov. The second Novis must have at least 9 mov, so that they will get into both Julius and Ishtar's sniping range. The third one can be more variable, as Katarina can challenge them accordingly. The fourth one is a bit trickier, as at certain turns, nobody is around the throne, tricking them to circle around. Speaking of Julius, he will be in danger in turn 6, as a boss with Devil axe can snipe him across the nothingness. He & Ishtar wait until no Novis spawn, then he rescues her in turn 5, rewarps in turn 6, then escapes in turn 7. This is also the only map where a plethora of staves have been used, and yet the turn count is high. They are necessary to save Eyvel, Katarina, and evacuate several of our units to the escape point. A couple of rescue chain has to be employed to make sure that those using "Wait" command can carry someone for efficient escaping. L'arachel holding Lara is a prime example of this. Map rating: Novis in fog/5 New unit: Julius: He has all the quality of a Gotoh: high stats, high weapon ranks, Nihil, etc. His only weakness is that he has 0 move. It's super thracia, so Idk whether this is a bug or a feature.
