📖 "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." – Psalm 34, verse 18 Before we pray, let's first take a moment to listen to God's Word, and then we'll pray together. ✨ Some mornings, for a few seconds after you wake, you forget — and then you remember, and the weight of the loss settles back onto your chest. Grief is the weight of a love that still has nowhere to go, and it is heavy precisely because what you lost was so precious. 🌿 In this prayer video, you will learn that grief is not a lack of faith, but the price of love — for even Jesus wept at the tomb of His friend. Like Mary and Martha mourning Lazarus, you will see a Savior who enters our sorrow before He lifts it. Like Elijah meeting God in a still small voice, you will be reminded that God comes gently to the brokenhearted. And like Job in the ashes, you will discover that sorrow and hope can live in the same heart. ☑️ Grief is not weak faith — it is love that remains ☑️ God is near to the brokenhearted and keeps every tear ☑️ He comes gently, in the still small voice ☑️ You can grieve honestly and still hold on to hope 💡 You will also pray for comfort over your grieving heart, for gentle strength to walk through this day one step at a time, and for the hope that joy comes in the morning. This is a moment to stop hiding your pain, to let the God of all comfort sit with you in it, and to trust the promise of a morning when every tear is wiped away. 🙏🏻 Let's pray together, asking Jesus to draw near to your broken heart, to carry the weight of your sorrow, and to fill you with His comfort and the quiet hope that your Redeemer lives. 💭 If this prayer touched your heart, type "Amen" in the comments. And if you need a special prayer, share it below, we would be honored to pray for you. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. 🕊️ 📖 Bible References: John 11, verse 35 Psalm 56, verse 8 Ecclesiastes 3, verse 4 John 11, verses 17 to 35 Psalm 34, verse 18 Matthew 5, verse 4 Second Corinthians 1, verses 3 to 4 First Kings 19, verses 11 to 13 First Thessalonians 4, verse 13 Psalm 30, verse 5 Revelation 21, verse 4 Job 19, verse 25
