📖 "Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless." — Psalm 10, verse 14
Before we pray, let's first take a moment to listen to God's Word, and then we'll pray together.
✨ There are seasons when heaven feels quiet — when you have been faithful, you have been praying, and yet the silence stretches on. In those moments, the enemy plants a dangerous thought: God has forgotten. He doesn't see. He will never deal with this. But Psalm 10 walks straight through that lie and arrives at a truth that cannot be shaken. Just as God found Hagar alone and unseen in the wilderness and called her by name, He sees you in your hidden place today. He is not absent from your waiting. He is not unaware of what you are carrying. The God of El Roi — the God who sees — has never once looked away from you. 🌿
In this prayer video, we journey through the raw and honest cry of Psalm 10 — a psalm that begins with a searching question and ends with a settled king. We discover that God's silence is never God's absence, that the desire of the humble is always heard, and that the Lord who is King for ever and ever is also the helper of the forgotten and the fatherless.
☑️ God sees what others cannot — and He never looks away
☑️ The humble who commit themselves to God are never forsaken
☑️ The desire of the faithful is heard by the God who reigns forever
☑️ God rises as helper for the forgotten, the poor, and the oppressed
💡 In this prayer, you will bring before the Lord the burdens you have carried in silence — the prayers you have prayed over and over, the waiting that has stretched longer than you thought you could bear, and the quiet fear that heaven may not be listening. You will declare that the lie of abandonment has no hold on your heart, and you will receive the peace of knowing that Thou hast seen it — all of it — and that God is already moving on your behalf.
🙏🏻 Let us pray together, asking Jesus to remind you that you are not invisible, not forgotten, and not beyond His reach — that the same God who met Hagar at the spring in the wilderness is meeting you right here, right now, in whatever season you are walking through.
