Rusty nibs: How I ruined all my nibs + trying to save them

I managed to ruin my nibs! :-( I soaked them overnight in window cleaning blue liquid, and they developed rust...! To try to save them, or at least stop the corrosion, I try to clean them with Rustolit 2000 - a sort of WD40 anti-rust spray. I'll update if this worked. 16-11-2018 Update: 24 hours after treatment, none of the nibs developed any more rust. I tested several and they work OK. If you have a solution for treating rusty nibs, please share!!
