Discover the Breathtaking Metacomet Trail Loop on Ragged Mountain (Berlin, CT)

Location: Ragged Mountain Memorial Preserve, Berlin, CT Trail Length: 4 miles Trail Difficulty: Moderate Elevation Gain: 623 ft. Trail Map: https://explorect.org/ragged-mountain/ This is a 4 mile hike at Ragged Mountain Preserve in Berlin, CT. What great views on this hike! You can see New Britain and Hartford on a clear day. What sets Ragged Mountain apart from its neighboring traprock cliffs, though, is its solitude. Central and Southern Connecticut is full of great parks, hiking trails and awesome overlooks, but this one seems quieter, despite the fact that the trailhead is in a suburban neighborhood.
