Top of the Pops - Richard Hammond - 9th October 2005

Richard Hammond joins Fearne Cotton for this edition of Top of the Pops. Performing in the studio are Robbie Williams with his new single "Tripping", Mariah Carey with "Shake It Off" (no, not Taylor Swift's one), and Franz Ferdinand with "Do You Want To" from their chart topping album. Production code: LMEI341B Also performing are Katie Melua, Steven Fretwell, Rachel Stevens, and the Sugarbabes, and Top of the Pops digs into the archives for a performance from John Lennon. Note: Unfortunately, due to the unique way the BBC is funded, John Lennon's archival performance on TOTP from February 1970 has been blocked, and therefore had to be cut from this upload (cut is at 22:18). #topofthepops #richardhammond #music #fearnecotton #robbiewilliams #mariahcarey #franzferdinand Chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:48 Robbie Williams - Tripping 03:53 Interlude #1 04:24 Mariah Carey - Shake It Off 07:29 Interlude #2 07:53 Katie Melua - Nine Million Bicycles 11:05 Interlude #3 11:21 This Week's Top 10 Selling Albums 14:20 Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To 15:24 Interlude #4 15:46 Steven Fretwell - New York 18:24 Interlude #5 18:52 Rachel Stevens - I Said Never Again 22:00 Interlude #6 22:20 Interlude #7 22:36 This Week's Top 10 Selling Singles 24:04 Sugarbabes - Push The Button 26:45 Outro
