Baptized into a People | Pastor Russ Louk | Mountain Springs Church // SERVICE

How do you know if the voice you're hearing is really God's? In this final message of our Wavelength series, Pastor Russ tackles the question underneath it all — how to discern God's voice with confidence instead of guesswork. The answer isn't a stronger feeling. It's learning to handle the Word of God rightly. From 2 Timothy 2:15, we break down three things it takes to truly tune into Scripture: Diligence — A burning desire for God's approval that drives everything else. Persistence — Becoming a "workman" who stays in the Word until it shapes you, not just informs you. Obedience — Accurately handling truth means staying on the straight path, even when we don't understand every turn. If you've ever wondered how to hear God's voice, discern His will, or know the difference between a genuine prompting and your own thoughts, this message lays the foundation for real spiritual discernment: knowing God through His Word.
