This is the first part in restoring my 1950s Singer 319K sewing machine.
In this short series I'll work through the mechanical issues, clean up the machine and desk, and get it ready to sew again.
In this video I begin the restoration process by removing years of built-up grime, and freeing up the mechanisms that have seized over time.
