90 scripts. 20 shortlisted writers. And now, the real work begins. A few months ago, I announced that I wanted to make my own feature film and opened the doors for writers to send me their original stories. The response was far beyond what I expected. I received 90 scripts from writers across different backgrounds and cities. After reading and evaluating the stories, I shortlisted 20 scripts and decided to meet the writers personally — even if that meant doing it online. This video is about that process. I sit down with the shortlisted writers, listen to them narrate their stories in their own words, understand where the idea came from, ask questions about their characters and screenplay, and try to discover what lies behind the script. Because choosing a film isn't just about reading a screenplay. It's about understanding the *writer, the story, the characters, the vision and whether that idea can actually become a film.* From 90 scripts → 20 shortlisted stories → 4–5 potential films, this is the next step in my journey towards making my first feature film. I've spent years working as an actor in television, films and web series. Now I'm taking a step on the other side of the process — developing stories and working towards producing a film of my own.
