Gwili Steam Railway - Christmas Experience #gwilirailway

Welcome to Gwili Steam Railway Christmas Experience! We boarded this attraction a few years ago so we were long overdue for another visit. Join us as we climb aboard a vintage working stream train and travel about an hour away whilst meeting some festive characters including a very mischievous elf, mother Christmas and of course the main man himself Santa! Along the journey we received goodies including a small gift bag with some treats. Mother Christmas handed us some lovely books to read along the way. Before the train journey we were given a small glass of sherry and a mince pie to enjoy on the train. Of course at the end of our journey we had the chance to meet Santa clause. Spending time with each party Santa made sure we were enjoying ourselfs and making sure we were behaving before travelling back to the north pole. Unfortunately the experience has changed somewhat.. previously you had the chance to step off the train and enter a marquee filled with stalls entertainment and more. This time we stayed on the train and travelled back to the car park which is a shame as I enjoyed the marquee. I hope you enjoy.
