This Tiny Freeware Aircraft Is Absolutely Insane - MSFS

The DMS Fanracer just dropped into MSFS 2024, and it’s one of the most entertaining freeware aircraft to hit the sim this year. Tiny airframe, big attitude, and a whole lot of speed — this little rocket doesn’t waste time and definitely doesn’t believe in flying slow. The Fanracer comes straight out of the French animated series Skyland, where it appeared as a fictional micro‑fighter. Fans kept the design alive long enough for it to escape the storyboard and land in Microsoft Flight Simulator as a high‑energy fun machine. No prototype, no ultralight, no real‑world lineage — just pure imagination brought to life. In this Flying Doghouse review, we take the Fanracer to China Lake for a full run: walkaround, cockpit, takeoff, high‑speed flight, low pass, landing, and final verdict. If you enjoy unusual, fast, personality‑driven aircraft in MSFS 2024, this one deserves a spot in your hangar.
