The Boulder Pass Trail is a steady, rewarding mountain path in the Lake Louise area of Banff National Park, Alberta. Acting as a popular gateway to the rugged Skoki Valley, this trail is a great fit for hikers and backpackers looking for spectacular subalpine scenery. The trek kicks off with a wide fire road through a coniferous forest of pines and subalpine larches. As you leave the road, the route opens up into expansive alpine meadows before climbing past the giant boulders that give the pass its name.
