Floe Lake is one of the most iconic alpine hiking routes in Kootenay National Park and serves as the southern trailhead for the famous Rockwall Trail. Spanning approximately 24 kilometers round-trip with a cumulative elevation gain of over 1,100 meters, the hike culminates at a glacial lake cradled by towering rock walls; the scenery is breathtaking, making it a highly challenging yet absolutely rewarding trek.
