The common mud trap behind the fuel filler neck exposed! Removing the fuel tank on the VW mk2 Golf

In this video I remove the fuel tank from my Volkswagen mk2 Golf GTi as part of my restoration series in this car. I found a few screws that wouldn't come out due to corrosion, but dealt with them as I found them. I'll have to repair the top mounting point for the filling neck before refitting the fuel tank later on. On the pickup pipe connections I made the decision to cut the pipes off to save breaking the outlets trying to wiggle them free. I'll cut the remains off to refit new fuel lines.
