Wetterhorn & Uncompahgre - Two 14ers on No Sleep

We left Denver around 8pm after getting off work and drove almost 6 hours to the trailhead for Wetterhorn (14,019') and Uncompahgre (14,316'). We had perfect weather today aside from some wind along the ridge below Uncompahgre. Saw many marmots and pikas which were quite friendly. The last couple hundred feet to the summit of Wetterhorn were a little spicy! Ended with 18.5 miles and 7,400' elevation gain.
