Welcome back to "Basement Tennis for Kids 4-6"! In our second lesson, we'll be focusing on tracking skills, an essential part of developing young tennis players. We'll start with the "rolling rally" exercise, where your child will practice rolling the ball to you and then returning it back to them. This exercise helps with hand-eye coordination, tracking, and improves your child's reaction time. Next, we have "balloon taps," where your child will tap a balloon back and forth with their hands, focusing on tracking and timing. This exercise is a fun way to help your child develop their tracking skills in a lighthearted way. Moving on, we'll practice "ball toss," where your child will toss the ball up and catch it, building their hand-eye coordination and tracking skills. Finally, we'll finish with "over shoulder throwing," where your child will practice throwing the ball over their shoulder and tracking it as it comes back down. By the end of this lesson, your child will have developed important tracking skills that will help them on their journey to becoming a skilled young tennis player! So, let's get started with our second lesson in "Basement Tennis for Kids 4-6" and have some fun!
