Week 3 of aircraft maintenance school! This week we finally got out of the classroom and started working on real airplanes. We learned about aircraft cleaning and corrosion, inspected aircraft for corrosion and paint defects, applied conversion coating to aluminum, toured a CRJ-200, and even got to sit in the cockpit. I also got my first 100% on a test with a 45/45! This series follows my entire journey through AMT school as I work toward becoming an A&P mechanic.
