7-Eleven Japan has more new foods and sweets this week! 🇯🇵 In this video, I try seven new items from 7-Eleven Japan, including a grilled chicken bento, soupless Cup Noodles, charcoal-grilled chicken, and seasonal Japanese sweets. 💴 Prices 🍗 Assorted Charcoal-Grilled Chicken ¥278 (about $1.76) 🍱 Garlic Onion Grilled Chicken Bento ¥699 (about $4.44) 🥚 Soft-Boiled Egg ¥138 (about $0.88) 🍜 Soupless Cup Noodles ¥429 (about $2.72) 🍠 Baked Sweet Potato Soufflé ¥313 (about $1.99) 🌰 Italian Chestnut Mont Blanc ¥429 (about $2.72) 🍫 Chocolate Ice Cream with Diced Ganache ¥354 (about $2.25) 💰 Total: ¥2,640 (about $16.75) The charcoal-grilled chicken included three different cuts: tender breast meat, liver, and chicken skin. The breast meat was slightly dry but tender and nicely seasoned, while the liver was soft and moist. The chicken skin was especially soft and almost melted in my mouth. The grilled chicken bento was a filling meal with rice and pasta. The garlic onion sauce had a nice garlic flavor with a slight tanginess, and it went really well with both the chicken and rice. Even the pasta underneath was delicious with the sauce. The soft-boiled egg had a beautifully runny yolk and was lightly salted. Instead of eating it on its own, I used it as a topping for the soupless Cup Noodles. The soupless Cup Noodles had the familiar savory Cup Noodles flavor, but without the soup, the seasoning tasted even richer. The creamy soft-boiled egg was a perfect addition. Sweet potato desserts are starting to appear in Japan as the weather gets cooler. The baked sweet potato soufflé was soft and fluffy, with a sweet potato filling inside. The Italian Chestnut Mont Blanc had layers of chestnut cream, whipped cream, sponge cake, and a crunchy biscuit base. The biscuit added a really nice texture, and the whole dessert tasted like something from a cake shop! The chocolate ice cream was rich and creamy and loaded with pieces of ganache. The ganache was quite firm while frozen, but as it softened, it became smooth and melt-in-your-mouth. I actually liked it even more after it softened a little. Everything was good, but if I had to choose just one, the Italian Chestnut Mont Blanc was my favorite this week! 🌰 Which one would you try? Let me know in the comments!
