Journey Into Imagination EPCOT Center Walt Disney World Arts music 11 min loop (1983-1998)

This is a loop of the beautiful music used in the arts scene of the original Journey Into Imagination at EPCOT Center (1983-1998). Thankfully, after 28 years of the entire Walt Disney World fandom collectively begging Disney to rectify their mistake of ruining Journey Into Imagination in the late 90s, last August at D23 Disney announced that they are finally listening to us and giving a much needed overhaul to the current version of Journey Into Imagination. Although not many details were given, we do know that Dreamfinder is coming back. I am ecstatic about that, as he is one of the essential aspects that is missing in both the second and third versions of this attraction. The third version (2002-present) is a quick & cheap overlay of the terrible second version (1999-2001). I am also ecstatic that they are revisiting the idea of infusing this attraction once again with the level of imagination found in the original version. It may sound cliche, but it's true. I'm actually too young to have ridden this version in person, but I have seen enough documentation of it online and in print, and talked to enough people who did ride it (my mother included) to know that it was one of the great masterpieces of Imagineering. This scene in particular was an amazing example of the creativity found in the original version. It featured paper origami flowers and animals rotating on a carousel. Figment sat nearby with a pot of gold overlooking a pond. Flashing vibrant colored lights gave a dreamlike whimsy to this scene that has always reminded me of the Finale of the Disneyland version of it's a small world. I love the whole soundtrack of the original Journey Into Imagination, and this track is no exception, and one of my favorite instrumentals from the original version. I hope you enjoy this classic music loop! I do not own any of the audio or images used in this video. All of the audio is owned by Disney. All images are owned by their respective owners.
