But just after crossing a bridge, things started getting complicated. 😰 The bridge was damaged, and somewhere along the way we lost the route towards Ilam. Instead of finding the right road, we ended up taking a completely different route and finally reached Nepaltar. And the real adventure had only just begun! 😱 Our planned route towards Mypokhari and Kalipokhri was blocked because of a landslide. With the road closed and daylight fading, we had no option but to look for a place to stay. We finally found a remote homestay, but reaching there wasn't easy either! We had to cross a water crossing that was quite scary in the Jimny. 🌊🚙 After all the unexpected detours, damaged roads, landslides and water crossings, we decided to call it a day and stay at this remote homestay. But this is only Episode 1… 🌄 Tomorrow, the real journey towards Sandakpur begins! Will we finally find the route? Will the Jimny make it through the difficult terrain? What challenges are waiting ahead?
