Age of Ultron was a BRUTAL Mess

Age of Ultron sounds pretty self-explanatory. Ultron wins. The heroes lose. The Age of Ultron begins. Except that's not really the story Marvel gave us. After roughly a year of buildup and promotional material depicting Ultron's ultimate victory, Age of Ultron finally arrived in 2013—and Ultron himself barely appears in the main event. Instead, we get a devastated Marvel Universe, Wolverine and Invisible Woman messing with time, Hank Pym getting murdered and unmurdered, alternate realities, and one extremely short confrontation with the villain whose name is on the cover. And the strangest part? I don't actually think it's a bad story. I think Marvel promised us pizza and gave us a perfectly decent hot dog.
