With a budget of 100 RMB, I tried some of the most popular local foods in Qibao, including: • Caotou rice cake • Shanghai scallion pancake • Wuxi-style soup dumplings • Qibao mutton • Haitang cake I also visited the Qibao Shadow Puppet Museum to learn more about this traditional Chinese folk art. Qibao is very close to downtown Shanghai, making it one of the easiest ancient towns to visit if you're traveling in the city.
