Our First Full Day in New York | Central Park, Levain Bakery & Top of the Rock

With blue skies and beautiful autumn weather, we started our morning with a walk through Central Park before heading into the American Museum of Natural History — where things quickly descended into dinosaurs, bees, bears and Stacey embracing her inner eight-year-old… From there, we headed back into Manhattan to visit the legendary Levain Bakery and find out whether their famous cookies really are some of the best in New York. With considerably less cookie left than when we started, we continued down Fifth Avenue, passing some of Midtown Manhattan’s most recognisable sights before finishing our day at Rockefeller Center and heading up to Top of the Rock for an incredible view across New York City. Central Park, dinosaurs, giant cookies and the Manhattan skyline — not a bad way to spend our first full day in NYC.
