The Warning – "Ego" REACTION | Put This in the Club | Album Series Ep. 07

Welcome back to Daxtastic Reactions — all killer, no filler. Getting close to the end of the album series now. Today it's "Ego" from Everything's Falling, and this might be the heaviest thing on the record. The groove is filthy, the guitars are crunchy, and there's an industrial edge running underneath that I can't fully identify — guitar, synth, filter, something. Whatever it is, it's heavy. And I can hear a club remix of this breakdown without much imagination at all. This is also their Spanish-language track on the record, and it is nowhere near what they did in Spanish on Keep Me Fed. This one sounds angry. I don't speak the language and I still felt it. Plus a Pau scream I didn't see coming, and a drum fill at the end that lands perfectly. And the video, whatever these three are doing with their visual direction, they've been on a run since Keep Me Fed. Consistently some of the best in rock right now. 🎧 Song: The Warning – Ego (Track 7) 💿 Album: Everything's Falling (2026, Lava/Republic) 🇲🇽 Dany, Pau, and Ale Villarreal — Monterrey, Mexico Comment below: • Spanish speakers — what's this one actually about?
