According to the Railway Board's latest figures for the financial year 2025–26, the Thiruvananthapuram Central–Mangaluru Central service recorded an impressive occupancy rate of 189.35 per cent. Its return service from Mangaluru to Thiruvananthapuram also recorded a remarkable occupancy rate of 174.77 per cent.These figures are significantly higher than the national average occupancy of 99.10 per cent for Vande Bharat Chair Car services during the same financial year.
