We revisit the Côte d’Azur after three years and explore Menton, Monaco, Nice, Antibes and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, discovering beaches, local food, hidden gems, architecture and some incredible coastal views along the way. DAY 1 — ARRIVAL & MENTON After a 5-hour train journey with a transfer in Nice, we finally arrived in Menton. We explored the main shopping street, visited the beautiful church overlooking the town, and finished our first evening on the beach. DAY 2 — ANTIBES & COASTAL TRAIN We started with a morning run toward Italy before taking the train to Antibes. We visited the beautiful Fondation Hartung-Bergman, explored the Musée Picasso, found a quiet beach and finished the day with one of the most scenic train rides on the French Riviera. Foundation Hartung Bergman Address: 173 Chem. du Valbosquet, 06600 Antibes Hours: Mon - Fri: 10 am–6 pm Musée Picasso Address: place mariejol, 06600 Antibes Hours: Tue - Sun: 10 am–6 pm DAY 3 — MONACO & OPEN-AIR CINEMA A short train ride took us from Menton to Monaco, where we explored the Rock of Monaco and enjoyed the views over the Mediterranean. In the evening, we watched Toy Story 5 at Monaco's incredible open-air cinema before exploring the city at night. The Monaco Open Air Cinema Address: Chemin des Pêcheurs, 98000 DAY 4 — NICE & THE OLD TOWN We headed to Nice to explore the Basilique Notre-Dame, the Old Town and a local food market. After lunch in a park, we checked out the famous Nice beach before returning to Menton for a quiet evening by the sea. DAY 5 — ROQUEBRUNE-CAP-MARTIN & MONACO We started the morning with a coastal run to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, with views toward Monaco along the way. Later, we returned to Monaco for another night at the open-air cinema, this time to watch The Devil Wears Prada 2. DAY 6 — E-1027, LE CORBUSIER We discovered some of the Riviera's best modernist architecture, including Villa E-1027 by Eileen Gray and Le Corbusier's Cabanon. Massolin, 06190 Roquebrune-Cap-Martin DAY 7 — MENTON Back in Menton, we explored the local market, enjoyed some incredible food and visited another beautiful villa and its gardens. Les Colombières Address: 312 Rte de Super Garavan, 06500 Menton DAY 7 — NICE & THE COASTAL WALK For our final day, we returned to Nice to explore a different part of the city away from the Old Town. We then visited our favorite quiet beach before walking along the coastal path from near Monaco back toward Menton, taking around three hours. DEPARTURE After one final breakfast, we headed to Nice Airport and checked out the airport lounge before flying home.
