ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES (1981) Cast THEN AND NOW 2026 — What Happened to Them? 45 years after Only Fools and Horses first arrived on British television, what happened to the unforgettable cast who made Peckham feel like home? In this documentary, we revisit the Only Fools and Horses cast from 1981 to 2026 and discover how their lives and careers changed after becoming part of one of Britain's most beloved sitcoms. From David Jason's legendary Del Boy and Nicholas Lyndhurst's Rodney Trotter to Trigger, Uncle Albert, Grandad, Boycie, Raquel, Cassandra, Denzil, Sid and the familiar faces of the Nag's Head, we look beyond simple then-and-now photographs to uncover the real stories behind the cast. We'll explore how the death of Lennard Pearce forced the series to change, how Buster Merryfield transformed the Trotter household as Uncle Albert, what happened to Roger Lloyd Pack and John Challis, and how the careers of the surviving stars developed over the decades. We'll also uncover surprising details about the real filming locations behind Nelson Mandela House, revisit the moment Del and Rodney's impossible dream finally came true, and respectfully remember cast members who are sadly no longer with us. This isn't simply about how much the actors have changed. It's the story of how a sitcom about two brothers chasing the next big deal became a British television institution — and why, 45 years later, the Trotters and the people of Peckham remain unforgettable.
