The cooling facility is aimed at making darshan more comfortable, especially when the temple witnesses heavy crowds. But the bigger question is when devotees will get an organised queue-darshan facility. IIT Bhubaneswar has been roped in to develop a pilot model featuring elevated ramps. Under the proposed arrangement, five ramps could allow around 50 devotees to have darshan simultaneously, with an estimated capacity of 8,000–10,000 devotees per hour.
