The Prodigal Son Didn't Get Saved

Most of us learned the prodigal son as a conversion story, the sinner who comes to his senses and gets saved. But the prodigal was a son before he ever left home, and every lost thing in Luke 15 already belonged to someone before it went missing. Passages: Luke 15; Luke 3:38; Luke 4:25–29; Luke 13:29, 34; Acts 11:3; Acts 17:26–28; Acts 22:21–22; Exodus 4:22; Deuteronomy 32:8–9
